About UsHot Sauce is one of the hottest cover bands around. Based out of Charleston SC, Hot Sauce is known to be a crowd pleaser. Versatility is the charm, whether playing for clubs, corporate events, holiday events or weddings.
Hot Sauce consists of four members: Amanda Hudson, Bill Nance, Mark Morant, and Wayne Mitchum. The band generally performs as a four piece for most club venues, but can add more musicians to accommodate any event. Amanda Hudson is the woman at the front of it all. She has been performing since an early age in both music and theatre. Her voice can be heard on local commercials and radio, but she loves the interaction with a live audience. She has an amazing range and a powerful voice. She can captivate any audience with her smooth and sultry sound, then belt out some of the best songs that other's wouldn't attempt! Bill Nance is a well known, well respected keyboardist. He is usually comfortably using two or three keyboards at any given time. He is one of the key ingredients to Hot Sauce, and he adds those special touches to any song that makes them stand out from other cover bands. Not to mention, he IS the only keyboardist around that can play a mean guitar! (On the keyboard, that is...) Wayne Mitchum is also a well known and respected musician. If there is ever a conversation about the most talented bassist around, his name is sure to come up. Wayne can lay down the funk on any tune, but can also jazz it out on an upright. He plays with such fluidity, and his speed and accuracy is unmatched! Mark Morant is the beat of Hot Sauce. He has traveled and worked with many national artists, such as Back Street Boys, Pink, N Sync, Timbaland and numerous others. He has more technique, style, and flair than any other drummer around. He is also known for inventing beats on the fly that will leave you questioning what you just heard! Hot Sauce is known for keeping people on the dance floor. They can easily accommodate any type of venue by playing all of todays hits, along with Motown, R&B classics, Beach and a little bit of rock' n roll. However, if you're looking for something a little lighter for cocktail parties or other events, they can also provide modern jazz, instrumental, and new age sounds.
